Becky jumped into the birthing world back in highschool to help a friend with her birth, and was forever drawn to the energy of holding space for women as they bring their babies earthside.

Lisa is a Bradley Method instructor and DONA approved Birth Doula Trainer who has been with Gentle Birth Care from the start!

After attending births in all settings (hospitals, birth centers, and home), Vanessa realized how truly special homebirth midwifery is, and started her journey to become a Certified Professional Midwife in 2018.

During her college summers she spent time in South Africa conducting breastfeeding research as well as two months in Ghana working on a labor and delivery floor in Takoradi.

Tynece has been an active birth worker and Placenta Encapsulation Specialist since 2018, servicing Chicago and the surrounding areas. She is currently a midwifery student on the path to becoming a licensed Certified Professional Midwife (CPM).
